Alpsolut srl provides real-time simulations of snowpack properties derived from measured or reproduced snow and weather data using the SNOWPACK programme. These data are used by the avalanche forecasting services to prepare regional and local avalanche danger bulletins, monitor avalanche sites affecting infrastructure and plan risk management for off-piste skiing
For its simulations Alpsolut srl uses the SNOWPACK model developed by the Federal Research Institute SLF in Davos; thanks to a Cooperation Agreement it also contributes to its implementation.
