OBJECTIVE: Management of alerts due to avalanche risk in the territory of the Veneto Region
DESCRIPTION: The platform for managing alerts related to avalanche risk in the Veneto Region was deemed necessary following the exceptional weather events that affected the area between October and November 2018 and caused huge damage to the forests. The absence of natural protective forests has determined a greater exposure to avalanche danger for anthropised areas.
