OBJECTIVE: the platform allows individual operators to report on the critical status of individual avalanche sites monitored during the winter season
DESCRIPTION: On behalf of the Lombardy Region, a support platform for the Technical Operations Unit (N.T.O.V.) called MI.NE.R.VA (Interprovincial Snow and Avalanche Risk Monitoring) has been created. The tool aims is to provide decision-making support for operational technicians in the Lombardy region during the operational phase of monitoring managed avalanche sites. The portal allows to enter data collected by technicians and view management measures and monitoring status at the time of observation and for the following two days along the monitored avalanche sites. The platform summarizes the critical issues present in the Lombardy region both through map visualization and through summary tables.
